The Son of a Businessman
Frank William Bradley, Jr., mostly known as William, was born in Lexington, NC. Because he was the son of a businessman, William spent his younger years in Chicago, IL, Wylie TX, Dunedin, FL, Cherokee, NC, Palo Alto, CA, Charleston, SC, and finally Sapphire, NC.
While in Cherokee, he discovered his Native American heritage and himself in the process. At Cherokee High School, he learned one of his favorite hobbies, woodcarving, the Cherokee language and the mathematical and scientific classes that would pave the way for his interest in computer science.
He was accepted to Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA. He subsequently acquired a job with Micros Systems, Inc in Columbia, MD as an associate software engineer. He developed test bed software for quality assurance. In non-computer speak, this means he developed programs that test for bugs in other program software.
When finished, William moved back to Cherokee and attended Western Carolina University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in Computer Science. Furthering his interest and skills in computer science, he worked at Booksurge, LLC an Amazon.com company. The mountains have a powerful attraction and he was married and moved back to Western North Carolina’s Blue Ridge into Sapphire, NC with his wife. Time to work for himself, he started Cherokee Web Solutions and combined his passions: love for the mountains and computer / web development.
